I Need Advice

You don't always know exactly what you need, just that something isn't right and you need someone to talk to.

At Safeguarding Futures, every enquiry starts with a free, initial, no-obligation conversation. We'll listen to what's happening, ask the right questions, and make sure you leave with a clear picture of where you stand.
We've Been Refused Funding

A funding refusal from the NHS or your local authority is not necessarily the end of the road.

Many families accept decisions that can and should be challenged. Whether it's a Continuing Healthcare assessment that didn't go your way, a local authority means test you believe was wrong, or a decision that simply wasn't explained properly, Safeguarding Futures can help you understand whether it's worth challenging, and how to do it.
I Don't Know What We're Entitled To

The care system in the UK has funding available that local authorities and NHS teams don't always explain.

NHS Continuing Healthcare, for example, provides free, fully funded care, including at home, for people with complex or unpredictable health needs. Many families are never told this option exists, or are told they don't qualify when a proper assessment may suggest otherwise.
We help families understand what's available, what the eligibility criteria are, and how to request an assessment.
I'm Worried About Paying for Care

Care costs in the UK can be significant, and the rules around who pays for what are far from straightforward.

Local authority funding is means-tested. NHS Continuing Healthcare is not. The difference between the two can amount to tens of thousands of pounds. We help families understand how the system works, what their options are, and how to make sure they're not paying for care they shouldn't have to.
I Need Legal Documents or Advice

Wills, Powers of Attorney, Trusts and Estate Planning are often left until it's urgent, or too late.

If you need to get documents in place quickly, or you want to make sure your family is protected before something happens, we can help. Steve Parsons is a Member of the Society of Will Writers with over two decades of experience. We offer appointments and advice that's explained in full before anything is finalised.
